The Swampscott Climate Action Plan Committee was established in 2022 after a group of volunteers came together to develop the Swampscott Climate Action Plan. We are an all-volunteer group focused on helping people in Swampscott take practical steps at home, at work, and in the community to address the climate emergency. Our ultimate goal is that everyone feels capable, empowered, and committed to taking action. Our Town's Climate Action plan is organized into 5 key focus areas: Buildings and Energy, Transportation, Resilience & Vulnerability, Natural Resources and Solid Waste & Recycling.
